Eligibility
Eligibility criteria
Please make sure you meet these before you apply.
- You are an Indian student who has passed Class 12 — or are currently appearing for it.
- You are preparing for a recognised government or competitive examination after Class 12 (NEET, JEE, UPSC, SSC, Railways, Banking, Teacher recruitment and similar).
- Your family's total annual income is below ₹3,00,000 (₹3 lakh).
- You genuinely cannot afford your coaching, course or exam preparation costs without support.
- You are not already receiving a full scholarship for the same preparation from another source.
- You can share basic documents — proof of identity, Class 12 marksheet and family income — if your application is shortlisted.
Priority is given to first-generation learners, girl students, and applicants from rural and low-income families. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee a scholarship — awards depend on available funds and genuine need.

Who can apply for the Lucky Bharat Scholarship?
Any Indian student who has passed or is appearing for Class 12, is preparing for a government or competitive examination after Class 12, has a family annual income below ₹3,00,000, and genuinely cannot afford their preparation costs.
Which exams does the scholarship cover?
It covers preparation for all post-12th competitive examinations — including NEET and medical entrance, JEE and engineering entrance, UPSC, SSC, Railways (RRB), Banking, Teacher recruitment (TET/CTET) and state government exams.
Is the Lucky Bharat Scholarship free? Do I have to pay anything?
Yes, it is completely free. There is no application fee and you never have to pay anything to apply or to receive the scholarship. We will never ask you for money.
What does the scholarship money cover?
Scholarship support goes towards education-related costs only — coaching and tuition fees, study material and test series, examination and application fees, and online classes and digital access.
How are scholarship recipients selected?
After you apply, our team verifies your details and assesses genuine financial need. We may call you to confirm. Priority is given to first-generation learners, girl students, and applicants from rural and low-income families.
What documents will I need?
If your application is shortlisted, you will be asked to share basic documents — proof of identity, your Class 12 marksheet, and proof of family income.
